„Nina” is one of those shorts in which minimalism proves to be a very efficient observation method. The character played by Andreea Grămoșteanu talks on the phone all through the movie and seems to be making plans to go on a trip to the seaside.

Between two phone calls, one with a buddy who should take her to the seaside by car, and the other one with her boyfriend, who is on a teambuilding trip with his department, Nina’s state of mind turns from relaxation and flirty disposition into the most intense frustration.

„Nina” is a movie that approaches closely and with refined means the psychological state of mind of the main character. It is an inspired selection for the Romanian shorts online list of Cinepub.

Lines:

„Well… if I have to… I could share my bed…”

„No, no… it’s just that I don’t like depending on others…”

„So… what’s the plan? Are you coming to pick me up?”

„I can hardly wait to have some time alone with you and talk.”

Luckily I found your socks under the bed and I washed them, otherwise I would have felt without a purpose in this world.
