SINOPSIS
This is the evening when Andrei and Maria will hear Angela Similea’s song for the last time. Because this is the evening when they each decided they are going to die. From a wound of love.

Iulia Rugină became a familiar name in Romanian and international cinema impressing by her short films and feature that follow a direction parallel to the one imposed by the New Wave.
Produced by Dragoș Bucur, Dorian Boguță și Alexandru Papadopol and their acting school Actoriedefilm.ro, with non-professional actors who attented the classes of the school, „Dying from a wound of love” stands out in Romanian short films online category on Cinepub platform by imagining its own world, one in which „only love stories don’t die”. Love becomes the only mechanism that pushes things further and suicide the only option.
Coincidences become signs in this world and the characters quench their intentions due to them, because „what is more sad in this world than dying from a wound of love?” A short film not only for cinema lovers but for Angela Similea’s fans too and a recommendation for those haven’t discovered her music yet
