PLOT SUMMARY
The observational documentary “Fotografiile rămân” follows the daily life of an 83-year-old retired man called Ghita. This fall, he is going to move to the United States with his children from his first marriage, leaving his current wife in the country. The documentary shows his relationship with Margareta as he prepares to leave for the US.

The documentary shows a hobby preferred by a lot of Romanians: amateur photography. This type of documentary radiographs from a social and anthropological point of view the passion for photography of those who don’t have professional training, but also the emotional benefits of this hobby which can be seen in the family or relationship.
