PLOT SUMMARY
Costel doesn’t feel too good among his fellow villagers, so he decides to go to England.
More details:
At first sight Costeluș doesn’t resemble his fellow villagers “I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, I don’t go to prostitutes and I have no other sins, God forbid”. But he still allows himself to be tempted by the charms of the West. “I could see myself in England in the evening. On the tanker, fishing for a big carp” and he goes to get his tests to go to „the other side”.
