More details:
Romania – Creative Traditions is a national platform open to all those interested in the field, where “creative traditions” attempt to identify and promote a permeable domain connected to the creative industries.
What distinguishes it is what we might call the endowment, that is, the particular way in which our traditional “dowry” is taken over and valorized.
Instead of “horizontal” reporting, circulating and combining themes and motifs (for example, the “fusion” trends from folk-fashion to folk-food or folk-music), the creative traditions have a vertical approach, which seeks the perennial meaning of the artifacts of this heritage, and not its component elements. They do not represent traditions processed in another way, but traditions that produce something else.
