Synopsis

“Even though Romania of today resembles a village without any dogs, its capital, Bucharest, is certainly a city full of dogs. Here, human and dog are two species intimately knotted, merged one into the other like the damned souls of Dante’s Inferno. Here, the human-eyed dog has to confront daily the dog-eyed human. (text by Mircea Cartarescu; v.o Victor Rebengiuc).
